How to use Google Maps to visualize data? | Teknologihuset | torsdag, 29. august 2019

Have you ever wondered what is the best way to display a large set of geospatial data in an interactive manner? Maybe it's flight destinations, election results, public transport departures or real estate values.
At this workshop you are going to learn how to use Google Maps and Deck.gl to visualise data. * Deck.gl is a JavaScript library that runs on your browser that renders visualizations using the GPU.
Some neat examples of what you can do with this knowledge: https://deck.gl/?fbclid=IwAR3FANsLu-Trvg9AyQVY_0aQEdlTwn7k_yj2PFrHq6DU3F_3aDdWuSDAx7U#/examples/overview
Once again we are happy to collaborate with Kristina Simakova, Independent Consultant, Android & Maps Google Developer Expert. Kristina is one of the organizers of the GDG Oslo & Mobile Era conference. When not coding, she enjoys traveling around the world, give talks at conferences and holding courses.
