HISTORY OF NEWCOMB - Newcomb Library | Newcomb Library | onsdag, 06. mai 2020

Celebrate the Heritage Festival and International Women’s Day and join us to learn from the Bellarine Historical Society about the rich history of Newcomb and the woman that the suburb was named to honour in 1956. Caroline Newcomb was born in London, travelled to Port Phillip as governess to John Batman’s children, and along with her partner Ann Drysdale, established the 'Boronggoop' and 'Coriyule' runs on the Bellarine Peninsula.
